JU88A-4/Trop GUNNERY TRAINING
Offensively, the plane could carry four
551 pound bombs or two 1102 pound bombs
externally in conjunction with 10 110
pound bombs in the interanl bay.
The Ju88A-4s which were "tropicalized" by
forward maintenance units received sand
filters, sun blinds, and desert survival
equipment.  The designation of such
planes was the Ju88A-4/Trop, whereas
planes having the modifications from the
factory were called the Ju88A-11.
Top speed was 292 mph at 17,390 feet.
Range was 1112 miles, and service ceiling
was 26,900 feet.  Crew - 4.
TO USE THIS PLANE:
Press "G" to access the gun positions, as
if the plane were a B-17.  Only the
positions that were on the Ju88 are
active - a twin 81Z in the nose, a twin
81Z in the rear of the upper cockpit
(represented by the top turret) and a
twin 81Z in the ventral gondola
(represented by the ball turret).  The
top and ball turrets have had their arcs
of fire correctly reduced from 360
degrees to a rear-facing 60 degree arc.
Press "B" to access the dive brakes.

         YOUR MISSION

Defend yourself from the attacking
fighters by first going to the gun
positions and setting them all to
"autofire."  Learn the different arcs of
fire of the stations.  Your Ju88A-4 has
unlimited ammunition.
