To install a PS/2 Mouse:

1.  Plug the mouse into the mouse port on your computer
2.  In DeskMate, select the RUN option from the FILE menu <F2>.
 
NOTE: If you are using a diskette-based computer, be sure to
insert the DeskMate 4 diskette at this time.

3.  At the PROGRAM: Prompt, type tlsetup.pdm and press <Enter>
    The setup utility screen appears.
4.  Press the down arrow to move the cursor to the [Mouse] prompt.
5.  Press the left arrow to move the cursor to [Enabled], and press
    the space bar.
6.  Press <F2> and select [SAVE] to save the change.  Then press <ESC>
    to exit the utility.
7.  Press <ESC> to exit DeskMate and confirn your choice.
8.  Reboot (reset) your computer.  Then, re-enter DeskMate, and select
    the setup option on the [F10] menu.
9.  Press <Enter> to select the [Mouse] option.
10. Be sure the PS/2 button is selected.  If it is not, use the arrow
    keys to move the cursor to the PS/2 button, and press the space bar.
11. Press <Enter> to exit the setup option.

Your PS/2 mouse is now ready to use.

Note: If you change to a serial mouse, be sure the [Mouse] prompt in the
tlsetup.pdm utility is Disabled.

If you use your computer's setup utility to change the Start-up drive
prompt from Drive 0 to Drive 1, please note:

1.  <F12> no longer works.  You must use the file desk.exe to start
    DeskMate.
2.  If you are using a hard drive computer, the desk.exe file is installed
    on the hard drive.  Therefore, to start DeskMate, change to your 
    DeskMate directory (cd \deskmate directory), and then, type desk at 
    the c: prompt and press <Enter>.
3.  If you are using a diskette-based computer, the desk.exe file is stored
    on the DeskMate 1 diskette.  Therefore, to start DeskMate, you must 
    insert the DeskMate 1 diskette into your 3 1/2-inch drive, type desk
    at the drive prompt, and press <Enter>.
