CHARGING THE BATTERY

When only one battery strength indicator on the right of the display
appears, you should recharge the battery. To charge the battery, use the
supplied AC charger.

CHARGING HINTS

* For the battery to deliver its full power capacity, use it until you
hear the low-battery warnings or see them on the display.

* You can leave the phone/battery on the charger for several days without
damaging the battery. However, we suggest you remove the phone/battery
from the charger if you plan to be away or not use the battery for a
   week or more.

* Do not recharge the battery in temperatures higher than 95F or lower
than 41F. For the charge the battery at room temperature.

* Avoid leaving the battery in your vehicle. Exposing the battery to
high or low temperature extremes shortens the battery's life.

Note: This product contains a rechargeable Nickel Cadmium battery. At the
end of the battery's useful life, it must be recycled or disposed of
properly. Contact your local, county, or state hazardous waste
management authorities for information on recycling or disposal
programs in your area. Some options that might be available are:
municipal curb-side collection, drop-off boxes at retailers,
recycling collection centers, and mail-back programs.
